HOR CRYSTAL FOUNDATION
Hor Crystal is rethinking Agripreneurship for future generations corresponded with United Nation’s SDGs. We develop practical solutions aligned with the indicators that aim to improve the Bottom of Pyramid (BOP) group’s access to economic development through modern agriculture and entrepreneurship.
Our foundational approach is built on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), with a focus on eleven of them: No Poverty1, Zero Hunger2, Good Health and Well Being3, Quality Education4, Gender Equality5, Clean Water and Sanitation6, Affordable and Clean energy7, Decent Work and Economic Growth8, Reduced Inequality10, Climate Change13, Partnership For The Goals17.
We feel that these eleven SDGs enable us to truly contribute and make a difference in our approach toward providing opportunities to massive of unemployed and under-represented Nigerians. Furthermore, these eleven SDGs are aligned with our four strategic pillars.
Our Sustainable Development Goals
The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) bring the world together to address global challenges and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.
Our efforts ripple through many of the goals but our primary focus is SDG 1: No Poverty1 through sustainable and productive agriculture.
Providing Solutions For The BOP
The agriculture sector has always had a deep commitment to stewardship. Growers rely on the environment to support their operations and livelihood. There is great pride in each and every harvest and that’s only possible by balancing prosperity with social and environmental factors.
The deep roots of stewardship are integrated into how we do business as well. Our model, products, services, and digital technology offer opportunities to increase crop and produce yields, on the same amount or less land, with optimal input use. In addition to stewardship, new solutions are needed to address climate change and ensure farms are more resilient to changing and extreme weather.
Priority Engagement
We took great care in identifying SDG priorities. We selected priority indicators that were the most relevant to our smallholders and stakeholders, and the extent to which an indicator can be influenced by Hor Crystal.

Level 3 – FOUNDATIONS
